creating original music as monkeyplus1, and DJ-ing mp3 “mixtapes”, drawing naughty pictures, making crude animations, building web-based video games, raising 2 kids, landscaping, playing video games, reading like a fish drinks water, swilling cognac and other top-shelf refreshments, running, swimming (somewhat poorly), writing, did I mention reading? mostly non-fiction, military history, combat aviation, though I’ll occasionally read recommended works of fiction.

professionally, I work as a consultant/contractor doing Oracle PL/SQL with a specialization in ETL (extraction/transformation/loading), data conversions, and data warehousing.
